IMAGINE IF YOU CAN …..HOW YOU CAN LIVE WITHOUT
WATER?
When you turn on a tap, do you ever consider where the water might
come from? How despairing do you feel when suddenly there is a hissing
sound from a dry tap and nothing appears in the basin. You ring the
Local Council of course.

New online donations feature |
This great new feature can be found on the
donations page, allowing you to donate to the Busoga Trust instantly with
a credit or debit card. As well as being quicker and more convenient for you, it means less administration cost.
Security is an essential legal
obligation for online donation, and we comply with the Data Protection Act. For these reasons we have set up an account with Charities Aid Foundation,
so that we can guarantee security for anyone wishing to donate.

Trust completes initial work in Tanzania |
|
In the Mara region of Tanzania between the
plains of the Serengeti and Lake Victoria, lies an isolated region of
several villages where we have worked with ZAO (www.zaowater.com) to
provide 3 springs, 2 wells, sanitary latrines, hand wash units and
hygiene training for the local people. The villagers in Ntagacha, now
enjoy clean drinking water and have the hygiene training required to
stop the spread of disease in the village. Further collaboration with
ZAO to provide more clean water sources to villages in this area is
under discussion.
